Wayne County, Pennsylvania, located in the northeast corner of the Commonwealth, sits within the Marcellus Shale Gas play.  As with any new industrial activity, there are challenges and opportunities.  WEDCO's role, as the lead economic development organization within the County, is to increase commerce and create jobs by supporting the responsible development of this industry.
